For approximately the past five years, we have been privileged to partner with a dedicated pastor in Ethiopia, a nation currently facing significant challenges including ongoing regional conflicts, food insecurity affecting millions, and internal political tensions. In this demanding ministry environment, we are deeply encouraged by the steadfast commitment they have demonstrated in establishing God’s work, including initiatives like The BIG Meal, a tangible expression of Christ’s love, and a recent endeavor to create a sustainable future through a café business. Mission International has been pleased to provide funds in recent years to establish this café, which not only supports crucial outreach efforts, sharing the Gospel in practical ways, but also empowers the local church to become self-sufficient as they shine the light of Christ in these difficult circumstances.
